Clash Zero window: the three steps, What to test, Linked models, Run

Everything you need to coordinate, nothing more.

One window, three steps. Designed by a BIM professional to be understood in seconds.

Multi-discipline

Choose the disciplines to check against each other: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, sprinkler, structure, architecture. Or check everything in one click.

Linked models

Test your model against linked RVT and IFC models from other firms. The "Linked model" column shows where each element comes from.

3D preview and 3D view

One click: the clash in 3D in a small window, rotate it with the mouse. A double-click: a 3D view in Revit centered on the clash, A in red, B in blue.

Excel round-trip

Export the list, a summary and a matrix. A colleague without Revit updates the statuses, you import them back.

PDF report

A cover page with key figures, then one sheet per clash. Fast mode in a few seconds, or real 3D captures from Revit.

BCF export

BCF format, one topic per clash with its view, to open in BIMcollab.

Resolution tracking

Active, To review and Resolved statuses, plus comments. "Check resolved" verifies that clashes are really fixed.

ActiveTo reviewResolved

Minimum clearance

Also flag elements that are too close between MEP disciplines (e.g. 50 mm), including pipe and duct insulation. Small, irrelevant overlaps can be ignored.

English / Français

Interface fully in English and French: one click on EN / FR switches the language of the window and of the Excel and PDF reports.

Detection zone

Draw the area to check in a plan view: rectangle or freehand. Ideal for a shaft or a plant room on a large project.

Progress report

Compare two detections, from any dates: new, resolved and remaining clashes, by discipline, in PDF or Excel.

Adjustable interface

Zoom from 60% to 150%: readable on a laptop as well as on a 49-inch screen. Light or dark theme.

Three steps, that's all.

Open the Clash Zero tab in the Revit ribbon.

  1. 1

What do you want to test?

Whole project, active view, selection, levels or a zone drawn in plan. Then the disciplines to check.

  2. 2

    Linked models

One switch to include linked files. Minimum clearance and discipline pairs in the advanced options.

  3. 3

    Detect clashes

Results are shown, grouped by level and by discipline pair. 3D preview in one click, 3D view in Revit in a double-click.

Results grouped by level and by discipline pair
Run time depends on the size of the project and the number of elements checked: from a few seconds to several minutes. Linked IFC models are often slower than RVT models.

Frequently asked questions

Another question? Write to [email protected].

How do I receive my license key?

Automatically by email, right after payment. Paste it into the activation window the first time you launch Clash Zero.

Can I use the license on several computers?

No, one license covers one computer. To change computers, write to support: a transfer is possible for the same user.

Are my projects sent anywhere?

No. Detection runs entirely on your computer. Only the license key and a technical computer ID are used for activation.

Does it work behind my company firewall?

Usually yes: Clash Zero uses the company's Windows proxy. IT only needs to allow api.lemonsqueezy.com (activation) and clashzero.pages.dev (update notice). Installation does not require administrator rights.

How do updates work?

A banner in Clash Zero shows when a new version is available. Nothing installs by itself: you download the new version from your purchase email and install it over the old one.

Is Clash Zero available in French? / Clash Zero est-il disponible en français ?

Yes. Clash Zero is fully available in English and French: click EN / FR at the top of the window to switch the whole interface and the Excel / PDF reports. — Oui. Clash Zero est entièrement en français et en anglais.

Which Revit version is compatible?

Clash Zero comes in three versions: compatible with Revit 2025, Revit 2026 or Revit 2027, at the same price ($40.99 / year). Choose the one compatible with your Revit: a license works only with the version shown.

Will a Revit update block Clash Zero?

No. Updates within the same Revit year (e.g. 2026.1, 2026.2) do not require reinstalling Clash Zero. For a new Revit year, you need the matching Clash Zero version.

Does Clash Zero slow down Revit?

No. Clash Zero never runs a detection on its own: it only calculates when you click "Detect clashes". On a large project, limit detection to one level, one zone or a few disciplines.
